t-glase (called TEE-GLASS) is an “optically correct” or water clear polymer that comes in Clear, Red, Green, Blue, White, Black, and Aqua. Red, Green, Blue, and Aqua are translucent rather than opaque. t-glase is a food and beverage safe polymer and carries the recycle rating of “1”. t-glase is one of the lowest shrinkages of the polyesters. With optical coatings, the t-glase can appear as clear as a glass part. t-glase prints at 235-245C. One can easily print light guides or light pipes. T-glase comes in Clear, White, Black, Red, Green, Blue and Aqua.
t-glase – colors = Clear, Red, Green, Blue, White, Black and Aqua
Print temp = 238C – 245C
Nozzle = any size
Print speed = ABS speeds – slower for high detailed prints
Retraction = 3-4mm
Print bed = Hot = Glass heated to 45C with a coat of PVA
NOTE: It is best “NOT” to let the bed cool to ambient, but only down to 35C in “end-of-g-code”.
This will reduce glass breakage.
